Sacramento River salmon to rebound in 2007?

After suffering through the worst king salmon season we’ve seen since 1992 in the Sacramento Valley, biologists say to expect a slightly improved run this coming summer and fall.
The scary thing is, the Big Picture doesn’t look good. According to fishery scientists, global warming is causing a severe shift in ocean conditions….which spells doom for our coldwater fisheries in the not-so-distant future.
