What’s that? You say all the previous Name that Fish entries were a piece of crab cake? Try this one on for size…(you get extra points if you’ve actually caught one).
This guy inhabits near-shore reef areas of the South Pacific and is primarily nocturnal. He’s a big fan of crabs, shrimp and small fish.
Not as easy as you thought? Here’s another hit: this fish rarely tops 5 pounds.
Any ideas?
I’ve caught hundreds of these fish growing up in Hawaii. Would the Hawaiian name work?
