Man, that sandbar came outta nowhere…guess maybe I should lay off the sauce a little.

Okay, just to be fair — this is my buddy Khevin Mellegers, who, by the way, was not intoxicated (yet) on this winter steelhead trip. He forgot to bring his bail bucket, so we had to drag the boat up the bank to drain it halfway through our drift. Sensing an opportunity to blackmail him in the future, I innocently asked him to sit in the seat with this bottle of booze “just for fun” while I snapped away with the ol’ Pentax.
