    Some variety of cutthroat…coastal (Oncorhynchus clarki clarki) perhaps?

    Bingo! And named (the Clarki part) after William Clark of the famed Corps of Discovery. just imagine how many of these bad boys were around when Lewis & Clark trekked across the country 1802-1806!
