Fish Camo!

Fish have some bad ass camo patterns that would make the fine folks at Mossy Oak and Real Tree jealous.

Check out this flounder I spotted last summer…

In the full frame shot, he’s already tough to see if you weren’t looking for him. I didn’t notice the fish at first but then I apparently got too close to him and he spooked.

He shot a few feet forward and then parked it again, which is when I got the first photo.

Now, check out the same fish a few seconds later when we got a little nervous that I was following him. The shot’s a bit blurry because my camera was totally fooled and had no clue what to focus on.

Just be glad you’re not a little anchovy minding your own business, swimming over this patch of “sand!”
