Over the years, I’ve named some of my Kwikfish and kept track — via small notches on the plug — of how many kings each lure has accounted for in it’s career. I have a bunch of plugs with over 50 kills and have had a few get up over 90 before they met their untimely demise. Here’s the Ace, Joe Montana, who has 103 kings to his credit. The scary thing is, the Big Picture doesn’t look good. According to fishery scientists, global warming is causing a severe shift in ocean conditions….which spells doom for our coldwater fisheries in the not-so-distant future.

Proving without a doubt that the outdoor media has extremely low standards when it comes to models, here’s my second cover shot in a month…
Actually, I was kinda disappointed. You see, I’ve been hoping for People Magazine’s Sexiest Man of the Year honors, but they’ve yet to call. I know, because I’ve been sitting by the phone 24-7 waiting…and waiting…and waiting. Hmmm, maybe they don’t have the right number.
Speaking of magazines, the cover of Forbes wouldn’t suck, either, but that’s probably not in the cards anytime soon. Of course, in my days of being a wanna-be pop star, I figured the Rolling Stone cover was a forgone conclusion but, alas, that didn’t pan out. Oh well, I’ve still got my old music video that I’ll post here at some point.
