With the Klamath River abysmally low and warm and poised for another massive salmon die off like we had in 2002, a judge in Fresno (of course) has temporarily halted life-saving releases from the Trinity River.
Not surprisingly, Southern water mongers, including the infamous Westlands Water District, filed with the court to get the temporary restraining order.
This whole thing is extremely alarming but par for the course. Without the bump on flows from the Trinity, we are looking at perhaps an even more catastrophic fish kill than in 2002!!
