Check out this rad footage of salmon and char chasing and biting my spinners. I recently trolled No. 7 spinners downstream with an Okuma Waterwolf camera rigged in-line and there’s definitely some cool stuff to be learned by seeing what’s going on down there!

and it really illustrates how most folks work their spinners way too fast…
Not too many misses when the spinner is on the drop, or slowing down, or even starting back up from prostate on the sand,

Fun to watch. Here are a couple observations: Number one, its amazing how many fish take a look and how few commit. I see this in other trolling videos also.
Number two, almost all attacks come from directly behind. Looks like the beads, hootchie, buck tail or other attractant may be more important than the color/pattern of the front of the blade.
