The derby is full for 2017 and is an awesomely fun even that gives money back to the Monterey Bay Trout and Salmon Project

Just watched your perch video. I’m an old geezer and enjoyed your talk last night and so here I am on your webpage. I used to live in Monterey as a boy and surf fished along Seaside and Marina. I wish I had known then what you reveal in your video. I may have to go back to Monterey and try it out. Is finding beach access a problem around Santa Cruz? North of there?

I enjoyed your personality a lot and your common sense, sense of humor. I told one of the guys last night that if someone went out with you they would have a good time even if they didn’t catch fish.

I have a beach house in Virginia Beach, VA and spend 8 weeks there mostly surf fishing. The fish are totally different but looking for rips and troughs to catch speckled trout back there is essentially what you are doing with the perch…and fishing near the beach. The water is a lot warmer back there.
