Lead weights commonly known as ring or torpedo sinkers rigged with a single hook to keep them in place were found in the bellies of three dead bass that Hart weighed in as the fish were being cleaned in order to be donated to charity, prompting a lifetime ban from the WON Bass circuit. U.S. Anglers Choice has also banned him from participating in future events and you can rest assured that all major bass tours will do the same.

I stopped fishing the Delta tournaments a couple years ago but my team partner continues to fish them and I get to listen to stories of how he lost 1st or 2nd place by so many ounces. Knowing that this low life could have displaced honest anglers because of his cheating tactics makes me sick.

Wow, that is low. I fished tournaments back in the day when Mike was fishing team tourneys in So Cal and he sure was always in the hunt for team anglers of the year, if not in the lead, and won a lot of tourneys. Makes you wonder now………..that sucks!
