    It’s been this way FOR YEARS down there. I lived in L.A. for 20+ years, and I always heard it was never safe to eat shore caught fish. We always went a couple of miles out, at least!

    hell, it closed all the wells at lake sonoma almost 10 years ago from what i heard they are still closed. the bioligist would’nt confirm anything at the hatchery? so draw your own conclusion.

    Yeah, for years, PCBs were dumped in an area off Palos Verdes (the big rocky point between LA and Orange County Beaches), and there are no signs of the levels in fish fat depleting. Best to catch and release the non-migratory fish and eat the pelagics…..
