Though most of us (myself included) have never met Jarrod Plaskett, he’s clearly one of us. And, sadly, we have a man down.
Jarrod, who is crazy for fishing, was injured at work in a tree removal project in Sonoma, CA on Nov. 8 and is currently in the ICU and awaiting surgery. According to his friend Jake White, it is unknown exactly what the final outcome will be, but as of right now we know that he is in critical care and he will be going through surgery.
This injury was not Jarrod’s fault in any way, shape or form, but regardless he is now paying the consequences. It is expected he will contact a workers compensation attorney. But of course, for now, his main aim will be to get through this surgery and on the road to recovery.
In other words, Jarrod needs our help.
“His road to recovery will be a long one and I please ask that anyone who knows Jarrod or who feels compelled to help please donate to this fund,” says White. “Jarrod is an amazing 33-year-old man who will need tons of support and donations in the months to come to help with the recovery process. If you cannot donate please like and share the need.”

Jarrad is home and living with his mon and stepdad at this time. He is paralyzed from the waist down. His spirits are good.
But he did not walk under that tree. He was where he was possisioned to stand.

Jarrad is currently in the ICU (unconnious) in Walnut Creek. I know that right now the family would like privacy. But if the surgeries turn out to be successful and he comes too I’m sure a large support group will help. If Dick wants to shoot me an email for more info please do. [email protected]
